Ai Weiwei

Chinese art superstar, Ai Weiwei.












Ai Weiwei has always been critical of Chinese politics. A couple weeks ago the government demolished his beautiful studio(studio shown in first image). You can read all about it here.

    Really awesome stuff. Believably unbelievable that the Chinese government would tear down his studio.

    this is such a terrible act of violence on this wonderful artist.
    however when i saw the photo before reading the text i thought this was another magnificent piece of sculpture by ai weiwei ,ironic!!
